Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Reiki: Energy Balancing & Attunement (30-min) + (30-min) Stretch.

Your session begins with a short consultation, followed by 30 minutes of hands-on or hands-off Reiki to balance energy. Then thirty minutes of guided stretches address tight areas. Expect gentle sensations, deep relaxation, and therapists adjusting techniques to your comfort level.

Practitioners provide both hands-on and hands-off Reiki depending on your comfort and needs. You'll discuss preference during consultation. Either method directs healing energy, feels subtle or warm, and is safe; therapists adjust proximity and touch to ensure relaxation and consent.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows gentle movement. You can remain fully clothed for Reiki; stretching may require ankle, wrist, or shoulder access, so light layers work best. Bring water and avoid heavy meals beforehand to enhance comfort.

The treatment itself is sixty minutes: thirty minutes of Reiki and thirty minutes of guided stretching. Allow an additional ten to fifteen minutes for intake and post-session feedback. Arriving early helps you relax and maximizes session start time.

Reiki and stretching can reduce muscle tension, improve range of motion, and support pain management for some clients. They complement medical treatment but are not a replacement. Your therapist will adapt stretches to your condition and coordinate care recommendations if needed.

Some clients experience mild fatigue, emotional release, lightheadedness, or temporary ache as energy shifts and muscles release. These are usually short-lived. Drink water, rest after your session, and contact us if symptoms persist or intensify so we can advise follow-up care.
