Get answers to common questions about Chin.
Most clients need six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Hair thickness, skin type, and hormones affect results. We'll evaluate during consultation and build a customized treatment schedule for optimal chin hair reduction.
You may feel mild discomfort similar to a quick snap or warm sting, but sensations are brief. We offer cooling devices and topical numbing on request to improve comfort during chin laser sessions.
Modern lasers are adjustable and safe for many skin tones; darker skin types require specific settings or devices. Very light, fine hair can be less responsive. A consultation determines the best protocol for your chin.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for two weeks and skip waxing or plucking for at least four weeks. Shave the chin 24–48 hours before your appointment and arrive with clean, product-free skin.
Expect mild redness or swelling that subsides within days. Use gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and broad-spectrum SPF daily. Avoid hot baths, exfoliation, and hair removal by tweezing until the skin fully recovers.
Laser dramatically reduces hair growth, but no method guarantees permanent removal for everyone. Hormonal changes can trigger new growth; maintenance touch-ups once or twice a year keep the chin smooth long-term.
