How the treatment works
Hot Stone Massage combines smooth, heated stones with traditional hands-on techniques. During a 90 minutes session at MedLife Massage, therapists place warm stones on specific body points and use them as tools between strokes to distribute heat and ease muscle tightness. The warmth helps therapists reach deeper tissue comfortably while maintaining controlled pressure, adapting to each client's sensitivity.
Therapists monitor stone temperature and client feedback throughout the treatment to avoid discomfort. In North Miami our team customizes pressure and focus areas based on your needs, echoing the frequent praise in reviews for targeted, skilled work. The 90 minutes format allows time for full-body attention and follow-up hand techniques after stone placement to enhance the session's flow.
What to expect in session
When you arrive at our Biscayne Boulevard location near Aventura Mall, you'll complete a brief consultation about recent injuries, pressure preference, and areas of tension. Therapists prioritize problem areas noted in reviews, using medium to firm pressure on request. This check-in helps tailor the 90 minutes to your schedule — convenient for shoppers or commuters stopping in after work.
Our treatment room offers a calm, private setting with heated linens and attentive timing so the full 90 minutes includes both stone work and hand massage. Local climate and active lifestyles in North Miami mean many clients prefer the comforting warmth after outdoor or beach activities; therapists adjust pressure and focus accordingly, based on client feedback.
Aftercare and short-term effects
After the session you may notice immediate relaxation and reduced surface tension where stones were applied. Clients in reviews report feeling deeply relaxed and often schedule follow-ups. We recommend drinking water, keeping activity light for a few hours, and avoiding intense exercise the same day so your muscles can integrate the session without strain.
